Our story
Advancer Limited is a Wellington, New Zealand technology company that bridges strategic advisory with product delivery.
We started as practitioners frustrated with the gap between AI hype and AI reality. Too many organisations were being sold "AI transformation" by consultancies that had never built production systems.
So we built Askance ourselves, using the same AI-first process we bring to client work. It's proof that the approach behind an Accelerated Build is not only advice.
Meet the founder
Sean Davidson
Principal
Leads Advancer and its associate network as Fractional CTO, CIO and CDO, and directs the Accelerated Build engineers and AI agents who deliver the work.
Former Chief Digital Officer of New Zealand's national meteorological service, and led the global digital platforms team at a global vehicle-inspection group.

Our team has delivered complex technology work for some of New Zealand and Asia's most recognised organisations. That includes major telecommunications providers, supermarket chains, government departments, and banks and insurers. We solve hard technical problems and get troubled projects back on track.
